I am a new real estate agent. I was nominated as the rookie of the year (State of Indiana) for REMAX of Indiana. I am a single mom who works 16 hours a day. I came to South Bend 13 years a go to learn English. My dream was to get a college education in the United States. It took me 3 years just to get into IUSB because I couldn't speak the language. BUT I worked very hard until I was accepted. I don't have any family or relatives in this country. I always have to work 3 times harder for everything I want. I had visited 20 countries and even lived with the Yanomami tribe in the Amazon in South America. I was the teacher of the year in 1989 for my state in Venezuela. I was invited last year to speak to a group of Latinas unidas who needed a person who inspired them.
